Executive summary

Maleesh Randunu de Silva is the Local Committee Vice President (Marketing) in the AIESEC in Jayewardenepura, Video Producer, Social Media Manager, Freelancer who is well-versed in the fields of marketing, social media management, event planning and coordination and videography. He is also an undergraduate in the University of Jayewardenepura who is currently pursuing his Bachelors' Degree in Automobile Engineering Technology in the Faculty of Technology,  University of Jayewardenepura.

As the Local Committee Vice President in the AIESEC in Jayewardenepura, he is fulfilling his responsibilities successfully and is in charge of handling the brandings, Buisness to Business marketing and showcasing. He currently handles a showacasing team consisting of 12 members. As an AIESECER, he possess an outstanding career and therefore he was nominated as the Best Emerging Young Leader in the National Awards Night 2020 held by the AIESEC Member Committee in Sri Lanka. 
He has worked as the Team Leader in numerous AIESEC projects including "Be a Marketer 1.0" which focused on marketing and content creation as well as the ptoject "Be Sri Lankan" which focused on promoting the tourism in Sri Lanka through foreign exchange participants. He has also worked as the Organizing Committee President in the event "YouCon Phase 1.0" which was an innovative Youtube conference on marketing,content 
creation and video creation etc. He also became an asset to the AIESEC in Jayewardenepura by working as the Organizing Committee Vice President in YouthSpeak Forum 2020 which was a conference that created a platform for the youth to share their knowledge on current issues. He also received the opportunity to work as a video director in the National Showcasing Team in the AIESEC Sri Lanka due to his talent and proficiency in videography and video editing.

He is also employed as a Video Producer and a freelancer in a number of companies; Hunters Photography,Revo Eye,PR Design Studio. He has been working as the Social Media Manager of the most famous social media page among the Sri Lankan university students, "Campus Set Eka" for 3 years.

He is a volunteer and has volunteered in a number or projects; 7th UNESCO APEID meeting held in Trincomalee,Sri Lanka, IRONAMAN Sports Competition and is also a member of the United Nations' National Volunteer Task Force. (V Force)
